Privacy Policy

Woven Shamrock collects only the information needed to run the site: your email address and display name when you create an account or join the newsletter, and the content you choose to publish in the community or in comments.

We do not sell your personal information. Account data is stored securely and is only accessible to you and, where moderation requires it, the Woven Shamrock team.

Your account. When you register we store your first name, surname, display name, email address, country, optional profile photo and the cooking preferences you choose. We also record when you registered, when you last signed in and when you were last active, so we can keep the site secure and see how it is used. Only administrators can see this list, and passwords are never visible to anyone — not even to us.

Visitor statistics. We count page visits so we know which recipes and articles are useful. These counts are anonymous: we do not set tracking cookies and we do not store your IP address. Instead a one-way code is created from your connection details, which changes every day and cannot be turned back into an address or a name. We keep the page address, the page title, the country your visit came from, whether you used a phone, tablet or computer, and whether the visitor was signed in. Anonymous visitor statistics are always kept separate from member accounts.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting hello@wovenshamrock.com.
